How It Works
| For a user: |
The user will access your website, from the menu down the left-hand side they will select the type of food they are looking for (eg, Chinese, Pizza, Pub Food, Spanish, French). On the next screen they will select the area they live (eg, South East, London, Scotland). The final search screen displays all the restaurants which are located in the area the user selected. This list is sorted by town - please see the online demo to see how easy it is to search and find a restaurant. |
| For a business who wants to be listed on your site: |
The restaurant owner would access your site in the same way as a user. Once they have clicked 'Add Your business' - which is displayed on the home page and every page on the site they are taken to a simple 4 step process.
- Step 1: They select the package they want. You can control these via the administration control panel.
- Step 2: They enter their business address, contact numbers, website, email etc...
- Step 3: They select their payment method
- Step 4: They make their payment

This website supports online ordering. The
customer is able to click through to the restaurant/takeaway and select the
items they wish to purchase. The ordering process has been designed to
work like a shopping cart. At the end the customer can select delivery or
collection before making payment.
For this to work correctly the business owner will need to supply a menu/price
list - the details of which will need to be entered into the website.
We have designed this system to either send the payment directly to the
restaurant or to your own Pay Pal account. Commission can be charged on a per
order or percentage basis.
The order is delivered to the restaurant/takeaway directly.
How Much Can I Make
Using the administration control panel which is provided free you can create different subscription packages. This allows you to charge restaurants any amount you want to allow them to use your website. As a basic guide line a basic package which allows a basic listing on the site could sell for £35 per year. A more advanced package which allows online table booking could sell for £100 per year.
There are tens of thousands of restaurant in the UK. In our home town alone there are over 200. If you signup 10 a month at the basic rate you would make:
10 x £35 = £350
or 10 restaurants at the advanced rate:
10 x £100 = £1000
That's a fair amount of money for very little work. The more effort you put into it the more you could make.
The online ordering system allows you to charge the restaurant/takeaway a set amount or a percentage of each order.
